Mark is a 28 year veteran of the United States Army with command and strategic level assignments. Military assignments include:

Operational Assignments include command in Europe, South Korea and the United States in rapid deployment units, with combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Academic appointments include Dean, Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy (National Defense University), Director of the Center for Infrastructure Protection (George Mason University School of Business), adjunct faculty for Georgetown (Security Studies), University of Maryland (Strategic Leadership) and GMU (Business Economics and Strategy). Mark also created Fiducia Capital Partners, LLC to deliver economic, financial and business strategy consulting to individuals and firms.
Mark holds a PhD in Economics (Monetary and International Economics) from George Mason University, as well as a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He also holds Masters Degrees from the Army War College and the School of Advanced Military Studies. Mark’s professional certifications include Certified Financial Planner ® and Certified Business Economist® with qualifications in defense and technology exports.
Executive education experience includes lead for delivery in Turkey, Australia, Sweden, Gulf Region countries, South Korea, and China. Corporate education includes firms in the energy, telecommunications, transportation, finance, and water sectors with industry study seminars in the finance and defense sectors.
