Susan Bryant, PhD
Executive Director
Susan Bryant is a 1989 graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She currently works as the Executive Director of SEI. She also teaches Grand Strategy and Military History at Georgetown University and Defense Policy Making at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and acts as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at National Defense University. Mark Troutman, PhD
EVP, Chief Operating Officer
Mark is a 28 year veteran of the United States Army with command and strategic level assignments. Mark holds a PhD in Economics (Monetary and International Economics) from George Mason University, as well as a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He also holds Masters Degrees from the Army War College and the School of Advanced Military Studies. Meet Mark
Sandy Troutman
Director of Administration
Sandy holds an MA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, a MS in Social Work from the University of Louisville, and a BS in Social Work from Ball State University. Certified in MBTI, and IDI Sandy has served on numerous boards for women’s, military, and ministry organizations. Beyond her work in counseling, Sandy’s experience include coordinating international conferences, director of leadership selection and training, and organizational development. Meet Sandy
